A. Cream

I scream, you scream, we all scream for A. Cream! Well at least in terms of my articles, I’m hoping. Born and bred here in Adelaide, I pretty much live and breathe sport in general. Having had the opportunity to move overseas to America for 8 months last year, it made me realise I was born in the wrong country but hey, beggars can’t be choosers. Having played predominantly football and soccer since a young age, I’ve also officiated soccer at state level including SASI development squads, inspired by my older brother who has officiated FIFA world cups, the 2012 Olympic games, confederation cups and has a current 12 year involvement in the A-League both here and interstate. I take a genuine interest in the direction that sport not only in SA but in Australia is heading and I hope to provide you with content that encompasses a variety of pressing issues across a diverse range of sports on a regular basis.

In the limited amount of time that I have when I’m not playing or following sport, chances are I'll be at work either behind a bar or in a kitchen (Hospitality employees will understand) and am currently completing a degree in business management with the intent to complete a Bachelor of Human Movement (Exercise and Sport Science) in the near future. When asked to be a representative and contributor for MANABOUTADL, I jumped at the chance to be involved in a team and a venture which showcases everything great about our city.

I was named in an under 9 team of the year with Hamish Hartlett growing up, looking back on it now I probably should’ve stuck at it like he did (the bloke seems to be doing alright). However I’m happy to settle with covering players like him as well as the more popular teams here in Adelaide. I also hope to bring light to some of the lesser known teams and players in all sports whilst establishing both opinions and creating discussions from those that take the time to be a part of the change MANABOUTADL is aiming to create.
