It's Time to Get 'NAUTI' this Summer at The Holdy.

As the summer weather heats up Adelaidean's tend to gravitate towards the Bay. Traditionally its the pilgrimage to either Jetty Road or the Marina Pier precinct, however it’s now The Holdy’s time to shine and they've just launched their vibrant new summer menu.

The change comes on the back of new ownership from Star Hotels in July this year. As a result The Holdy is no longer as we knew it. Like many other Adelaide watering holes, The Holdy has undergone an impressive makeover complete with a beachy theme.

The brand new summer menu is essentially traditional pub grub meets international flavours to create a unique dining experience this side of Brighton Road.

The Holdy Venue Manager Jeff Owens says "We wanted to inject some character into the menu. It's a fun and interesting celebration of all Australian cultures, it all comes together and sings on the plate!". And what a tune it plays!

The mastermind behind the creation of this diverse menu is acclaimed Chef, Hayley Mass. You may have heard of Hayley before as she played a massive role in starting the Ellen St Restaurant at Maxwell Winery in McLaren Vale before opening Fuze Food & Wine to amazing reviews. Hayley has travelled the world both working and eating and this has resulted in her passion for experimenting with unique flavour combinations, The Holdy has really scored a massive coup with Hayley’s appointment as the Head Chef.

“The new menu is about taking risks and embracing diverse global tastes. Sharing a Holdy Tasting Plate and Thai Chilli Mussels with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc is the best way to start,” says Hayley.

“Head to the Mushroom & Haloumi Burger with sweet potato fries or the Crispy Skin Duck with broccolini, bok choy, maple roasted almonds & passionfruit jus for a sumptuous summer main. For dessert, we can’t go past the house-made Chu Chu Churros with milk chocolate sauce, enjoyed with live local music in the sunny Garden Bar,” says Hayley.

But the good news does not stop here, The Holdy now brings a sumptuous brunch menu to the table, incorporating traditional crowd favourites like smashed avo, Belgian waffles and smoked salmon eggs benedict. With brunch now added to the mix, The Holdy will quickly rocket towards becoming one of our city's go-to weekend breaky spots.

Don't forget that The Holdy is also the perfect location for functions. The renovation has meant that there is now a dedicated functions space, in addition to a myriad of indoor and outdoor areas to choose from, meaning The Holdy really is the whole package for any event. If you have any upcoming conferences, birthdays or engagement parties, you can now add this epic venue of places to consider as the new vibe The Holdy presents is fresh, modern and edgy.

This place is an absolute no-brainer for this summer as it has it all with flavoursome food, ice cold cocktails, tunes to relax to and a fun crew.

So don't delay, check out The Holdy for a relaxed brekkie or brunch, amazing dinner or to join mates for a few cheeky bevvies.

You will find The Holdy at 83 Brighton Road, Glenelg.
