Something Adelaide is really leading the way in at the moment is the activation of otherwise decommissioned laneways. This time it's Arcade Lanes turn, which you will find just off Grenfell Street. Arcade Lane has been transformed into a laneway that makes you feel like you have just stepped into a bar in Northern Italy.
Club Aperol has arrived and will make those hot balmy Summer nights an absolute treat. For those of you that have not yet treated yourself to this delicious delight, please do yourself a favour and get along to Club Aperol to treat yourself to this sweet and bitter fizzy delight. It goes down so easily that it will make you want to come back for more. It is everything you will ever want this summer as it consists of Aperol, Prosecco, a dash of soda and a refreshing thin slice of orange.
Spanning the length of Arcade Lane (adjacent to The Propoganda Club) this laneway pop-up bar officially opens this coming Friday 27 October. Walk down Grenfell Street and you can’t miss the entrance that is adorned with the striking Aperol colours of orange, white and blue. Once you pass the entry adorned with tropical palms, you will be able to get your hands on that ice cold spritzy goodness.
An Aperol Spritz will set you back just $10 but if you would like something different, Negroni Sbagliato, wine and beer are also on the menu. If you are looking for a bite to eat, don’t despair as you can also devour into some delicious morsels to keep that stomach lined. On my list of things to try from the menu; Fried Cajun Chicken Sliders, Salt and Pepper Squid and croquettes courtesy of one of our CBD favourites The Propoganda Club. We can already see it being the go-to after work drinks destination this summer.
Club Aperol will be open from 5pm to Midnight, Thursday through to Sundays during Summer. It will also be available for private hire, but be quick as functions in November and December are filling fast.
