This Saturday, Camp Quality will hold its 20th Cherry Ball fundraiser at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The evening will be hosted by Derrick Patterson and Frank Bueti who both work in the fruit and vegetable industry and spend their time preparing for the annual Cherry Ball, with the assistance of Derrick’s daughter, Ashley. Saturday evening's guests will have the opportunity to bid on prime fruit and vegetable crops. The ultimate prize is the first case of cherries for the season with the highest bidders crowned King and Queen. It is set to be an amazing night with funds raised going towards families with children growing up with cancer.

Following the Cherry Ball, the crowned King and Queen, Prince and Princess will then take the cherries to Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s hospital to share the the festive deliciousness with children in the oncology ward. This fitting gesture is simply the cherry on the top (pardon the pun) from what is a highly successful event. The fruit and vegetable provedore himself, Frank Bueti, is expecting this year’s Cherry Ball to be the biggest and best in the events 20-year history. Frank states “Laughter truly is the best medicine and we are glad to be able to help Camp Quality provide fun to children and families impacted by cancer though our love for fresh produce.”
MANABOUTADL is passionate about supporting charities like Camp Quality and we are proud to say that we will be present at Saturday nights Cherry Ball. We look forward to able to share in the fun and excitement with you all.
