The Holdy launches a fresh summer cocktail menu and NEW Garden Peroni Bar
It’s time to get ‘Nauti’ at one of our faves down the Bay - The Holdy.
The Brighton Road favourite complete with its Nautical theme have just launched their lively new Garden Peroni Bar and summer cocktail menu. The Holdy’s Garden Bar has a real summer vibe that offers everything that you would want from a beer garden. With an abundance of natural light and ample seating available this venue should definitely be on your radar this summer.
The new cocktail selection features ten amazing new cocktails that just scream out summer including Pirates Punch, Treasure Island and a Lighthouse Lemon Cheesecake that celebrate seasonal tropical fruit and high class liquors. The crowd favourite on launch night was definitely the 'Mermaid Sour Kiss' which has Disaronno Liqueur mixed with lemon juice, tart cranberry juice & balanced out with the sweetness of sugar syrup. One sip and it will have you thinking of Cherry Starburst lollies.
“We wanted to create an experience for our customers like no other and our new cocktails have to be experienced to be understood – they are the very essence of summer nights and good times,” says The Holdy Venue Manager, Jeff Owens.
“My favourite cocktail at the moment without doubt is the Frosé, made with Annie’s Lane Rose. The frozen cocktail leaves you feeling incredibly refreshed even on the hottest of summer days.”
But it isn’t just the new cocktail menu that gives you a reason to check out The Holdy this summer; they also have a new Garden Peroni Bar, the place to chill with mates over a cheeky few or a Sunday sesh.
“A wide range of live local music will be performed in the sunny Garden Peroni Bar making it an even more enjoyable space to hang out with mates,” says Jeff Owens.
“I wanted to create a space that draws people in and keeps them wanting more, I’ve found that to be the trick,” says Jeff Owens.
It's the Peroni Garden Bar where you will find a favourite - the Peroni Leggera. The Peroni Leggera is a new mid-strength beer imported straight from Italy, which is lower in carbs and calories – the perfect combination. For those of you after a light beer, you cannot go past the Peroni Leggera.
The Holdy is fast becoming the go-to seaside venue and it’s just going from strength to strength following an impressive redevelopment under new owners, Star Hotels in July last year. The Holdy has it all, amazing food and beverage options including ice cold cocktails, a modern and fresh look complete with mischievous yet friendly staff.
