Ash says he has been a consumer before and he understands where a business positions themselves in their specific industry. He goes on to say “For instance someone like myself as an importer I design and import my good direct from a manufacturer in China as opposed to the bulk of my competitors here in Adelaide purchase their goods from a supplier”. Ash feels as though they have the right formula to succeed which is ensuring their businesses future success by understanding the current landscape of the mens suit industry. Ash is extremely passionate about the industry and his business, he feels as though the word ‘sale’ in the retail industry has had its meaning become diluted. Ash says “everybody is on sale every single day” . It is this sneaky approach that some retailers use that Ash will not utilise within his business approach. Ash says that as an importer their business does not rely on any suppliers meaning they have the ability to advertise clear cut prices cutting out the 'BS' that some competitors implore.
